Allow me to introduce you to my breathing exercise.
If you are familiar with mindfulness practice, this exercise will connect with you.
If you are not familiar with mindfulness practice, then simply find a chair or stand in a place where you are not going to be disturbed.

Subscribe to my newsletter and receive monthly tips and techniques to help you speak and communicate with confidence. Please click me: http://eepurl.com/gj6Sb9.

I will guide you through an exercise where you are encouraged to relax, to bring attention to your breathing and to count from 1 through to 10 and then repeat.

I use this exercise to help people with their preparation for delivering speeches and presentations. It helps to make us feel calm and relaxed and removes any ‘noise’ we may have in our heads because we might be feeling nervous.

Even if you don’t have a speech or presentation to prepare for, you can do this exercise whenever you feel the need to take a little time out for yourself.
